PHP Data type NULL


A special NULL value means that a variable has no value, and the only possible value for a NULL type is NULL.

A variable is considered NULL in the following cases:

  1. is assigned NULL.
  2. has not been assigned
  3. being unset()

NULL can not be written as null.
