From the start tag to the end tag and tag content is called the HTML element.
Examples of elements:
<p> Text paragraphs such as body content </p>
The above example is an HTML element, and the element content is "text paragraphs and other text content."
HTML nested element
Because the tags can be nested, so the elements also have nested elements, in fact HTML document is composed of nested HTML elements.
<html> <head> <title>HTML Element<title> </head> <body> <p>Contents</p> </body> </html>
The above example has four HTML elements.
HTML empty element
An HTML element that has no element content is called an empty element, and an empty element is closed (unpaired) in the opening tag.
