Use to set the attributes of an html list element (<ul> or <ol>)

List Flag

The "list-style-type" attribute is used to set the list flag (bulleted). The possible values ​​are as follows:

disc Default, bulleted (solid circle)
circle Hollow round
square Solid block
decimal Arabic numerals
lower-roman Lowercase Roman numerals
upper-roman Uppercase Roman numerals
lower-alpha Lowercase letters
upper-alpha Capital letters
none The list flag is not used

List image

CSS allows images to be used as list tags

ul li {list-style-image: url (../images/li_red.gif);}

List position

The "list-style-position" attribute is used to set whether the list flag is present outside the list item or inside the content. Possible values ​​are

Value Description
outside The default, list item markers are placed outside the text, and the wrapping text is not aligned based on the markup
inside The list item markers are placed within the text, and the wrapping text is aligned according to the markup
